About This Video

In 2007, Dr. James Maskalyk traveled to Sudan with Medicins Sans Frontiers (MSF/Doctors Without Borders) to put his experience as an emergency physician to good use. He was also trying to come to some understanding about the world’s toughest places. While spending six months in Sudan, he kept a blog that documented the daily struggle these people encounter, and how this experience came to affect him. In this video, http://www.WatchMojo.com speaks with Dr. Maskalyk to learn more about his six months in Sudan, which was later turned into a book of that name, and to learn what kept him going through this rough time.
