The Dark Knight Rises (Trailer No.1)

The trailer for The Dark Knight Rises is finally out, and the final film in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy looks very promising.

Bruce Wayne and Alfred both look really hangdog and sad, appropriate given the way the last film ended. And though Anne Hathaway isn’t seen in her Catwoman suit, she is seen dancing with Bruce Wayne at a masquerade ball, fitting, since they both have hidden identities. Dark Knight Rises’ bad guy is the brutish Bane (Tom Hardy, of Nolan’s Inception fame), who chooses to terrorize Gotham City where it hurts the most — at a football game. Touchdown!
